About the Role:

Athena Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Care Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and supporting our care team in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the care team, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Assist, motivate, and inspire passion in the care team to deliver outstanding outcomes in care.
  • Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of the care team, celebrating individual achievements and helping team members to reach their full potential.
  • Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations and monitoring of vital signs.

Requirements:

  • A passion for care and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Experience in a care position, with a proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a team.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
