Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Health Play Specialist to join our specialist service in the East Midlands. As a key member of our outreach team, you will provide therapeutic and generic play and leisure activities for service users, creating meaningful and enjoyable memories in a safe and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement play plans to ensure all children have access to play opportunities and create a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the wider Play Team, promoting good teamwork and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the Family Support Lead to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Travel to various locations, including rural areas, to provide services and support.

Requirements:

  • Fully-qualified Health Play Specialist and registered with the SoHPS (HPSET).
  • Experience working with babies and children of all ages, including those with complex needs.
  • Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
