About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Paediatric Specialist. As a key member of our Children's Sensory Service, you will play a vital role in delivering and planning a locally driven, needs-led service that ensures children and their families are at the heart of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide highly specialist Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, and advice services for children and young people whose sensory processing is impacting on their participation in activities of everyday living and access the service via a 3-tiered offer (universal, targeted, and specialist).
  • Work with parents/carers, educational settings, the voluntary sector, and other health professionals to deliver a comprehensive service that meets the needs of children and their families.
  • Supervise, train, and performance manage junior and student occupational therapists as delegated by the Operational Manager and Clinical Quality Leads.
