About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopaedic Nurse to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with orthopaedic conditions, including spinal cord injuries, bone tumours, and complex joint reconstructions.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives, and participate in quality improvement projects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and students, and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Experience working in an orthopaedic setting, with a strong understanding of patient care and clinical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
