Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nanny to join our family as a full-time caregiver for our two children. As a nanny for our family, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to our children's physical, emotional, and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including meal preparation, homework assistance, and engaging activities to promote learning and development.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our children, including managing household chores and maintaining a clean and organized living space.
  • Develop and implement a daily routine that meets the needs of our children, including scheduling activities, meals, and rest time.
  • Communicate effectively with our family to ensure that our children's needs are met and to provide updates on their daily activities.
  • Participate in household duties, including laundry, ironing, and meal preparation, to support the smooth operation of our home.
  • Provide transportation for our children to and from school and extracurricular activities.
  • Assist with household errands, including grocery shopping and running other necessary tasks.
  • Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with our children, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a private nanny or in a childcare setting.
  • Relevant childcare qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS check and ability to work in the UK.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children of similar ages to ours.
  • Ability to swim and participate in water-based activities with our children.
  • Experience with household management and organization.
Working Hours
  • Minimum 40 hours per week.
  • 5 days per week, typically 8am-6pm and 1pm-8pm.
  • 2 weekend days per month, either Saturday or Sunday.
  • Occasional overnight stays.
