Role Overview:
This position involves cultivating relationships with customers to achieve targets related to net sales, margins, and profits through the development and execution of strategic business plans. A comprehensive understanding of retailer strategies and shopper behavior is essential for optimizing Colgate-Palmolive's brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales and profit targets by developing and leading tailored Joint Business Plans (JBP).
  • Utilize commercial insight to identify and address business challenges and opportunities swiftly.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of retailer strategies and shopper dynamics to enhance brand optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Shopper Development Manager to create a shopper-centric plan that aligns with the JBP.
  • Work alongside the Category Manager to identify growth opportunities within the category.
  • Oversee collaborative planning with customers, ensuring accurate forecasting and identifying risks and opportunities monthly.
  • Ensure proper activation and settlement of customer ledgers, financial accruals, and rebates in coordination with the Finance department.
  • Develop and implement a three-year strategic plan for retailers.
  • Partner with retail marketing and brand managers to devise and execute effective business solutions.
  • Build external networks to enhance customer engagement and identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish strong internal networks to elevate business focus and support for retailers.
  • Contribute collaboratively within the Customer Development Team to optimize overall team performance.
  • Proactively engage in business development initiatives within the customer development function.
