This position is ideal for an individual with a proven track record in executing extensive organizational transformations and is recognized within the change management field, specifically in transformation, portfolio, program management, or PMO. Are you adept at leading teams effectively and thrive in complex and dynamic settings, often under tight deadlines?
Overview of the Role:
You will collaborate closely with the Transformation Director and the wider Transformation team to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of the UKGI change portfolio, which typically exceeds £100 million annually. Utilizing portfolio data along with your expertise, you will provide insights into overall performance, pinpointing key themes in areas such as resource allocation, risks, and dependencies. This role also involves identifying process inefficiencies and underperformance, along with recommending actionable solutions.
As the leader of the PMO team, you will guarantee the delivery of high-quality services to programs in accordance with appropriate governance standards. You will strategically deploy PMO resources to the most critical and strategic initiatives in the most effective manner. Additionally, you will drive the ongoing integration of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools within the organization and take responsibility for ensuring optimal value and efficiency from these tools.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the Financial Services sector with a strong understanding of customer, commercial, and personnel metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with substantial people management experience.
- Solid understanding of risk, control, and governance requirements, ideally within a highly regulated context.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with both peers and senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with change delivery methodologies and frameworks, including knowledge of Planview or similar PPM tools.
