About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team at Talentedge. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
- Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, including data entry and reconciliation.
- Month-End and Year-End Close Processes: Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Audit and Tax Support: Assist with audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Other Accounting Duties: Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
