We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Junior Underwriter to join our team at The City & Capital Group. As a key member of our underwriting function, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and support deals from a credit management perspective, working closely with BDMs and brokers.
- Manage and maintain your own pipeline of loans for sanctioning, ensuring activity is undertaken to allow loans to be funded in line with SLAs.
- Collaborate with Senior Underwriters on complex cases to develop your skillset and grow within the business.
- Previous experience working within the mortgage or commercial property finance sector.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a confident diary management and results-oriented approach.
- Ambitious and keen to drive career forward within the business.
Competitive salary up to c£55k, with uncapped bonus structures to reward success and drive earnings growth.

Based in our lovely Mayfair offices, Monday to Friday.
