Job Title: Senior Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Corporate team in the UK or Ireland. As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting large cross-class renewal accounts and providing technical support to our regional underwriting teams.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our largest and most complex clients in the UK and Ireland. You will be involved in the early stages of client engagement, working closely with our Risk Control, Claim, and other critical stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Triage new business opportunities and develop prospects
  • Lead the technical underwriting of risks and help deliver Travelers' bespoke customer proposition
  • Manage an assigned allocation of large cross-class renewal accounts
  • Provide technical support to our regional underwriting teams
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced knowledge and ability in analytical thinking, judgment, decision making, communication, and team work
  • Proven ability in broker planning and engagement activities
  • Advanced ability in customer focus and positive broker interaction
  • Intermediate knowledge and ability in Microsoft Office systems, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Typically, advanced relationship management skills
