We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Chef to join our team at Smyth & Co. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-end fine dining meals for our client's family and guests, as well as managing a small team of chefs and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a range of cuisines, including French, Italian, and Japanese (sushi), for everyday meals and special occasions
  • Manage a small team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring seamless kitchen operations
  • Source high-quality ingredients and manage kitchen supplies
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the client's dietary requirements and preferences
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end culinary environment (Michelin or fine dining experience preferred)
  • Expertise in French, Italian & Mediterranean, Japanese (sushi) cuisine
  • Strong organizational and team leadership skills
  • Candidates should be at ease in a family and kitchen environment when needed
  • Solid background in Private Households or Fine dining & Michelin star restaurants
  • Understanding about managing a small team of chefs, ordering, H&S, organization, and suppliers
