Position: Logistics Training Specialist

Location: Staffordshire base

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Salary: Circa £35,000 plus benefits

As our fleet and personnel expand, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting LGV driver training across all license categories up to C+E.
  • Administering DVSA Module 3A assessments.
  • Delivering practical demonstrations for Driver CPC training.
  • Facilitating classroom-based Driver CPC periodic training.
  • Providing associated training courses, including Category B+E (car + trailer) training and refresher sessions for post-licence-acquisition.
  • Carrying out pre-course, pre-employment, and post-accident driving evaluations.
  • Implementing internal training programs, including employee onboarding.
  • Conducting RTITB training on Forklift Trucks (FLT).

Essential Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid Category C+E LGV license, held for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Prior experience in LGV training, along with a solid understanding of LGV testing protocols.
  • Experience in delivering classroom-based Driver CPC training.

Skills Required:

A proactive approach, with the capability to work independently and deliver training sessions within specified timeframes.


Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

The ability to engage effectively with candidates, colleagues, and examiners in a professional and approachable manner to achieve successful outcomes.


Flexibility:

A willingness to adapt to meet the comprehensive training needs of our esteemed clients, including flexible working hours.


Documentation Skills:

The ability to accurately record course details and monitor candidate progress through concise reports.


While local knowledge of training routes may be beneficial, it is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
