About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Legal Executive to join our team at Prodrive, a world-leading independent motorsport company. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and driving our business growth through effective contract negotiation, management, and advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all agreements with clients, drivers, partners, and sponsors are properly documented and legally compliant.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for our contracting process, including the creation and maintenance of templates.
  • Implement an efficient renewals process and monitoring regime for existing contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met by both parties.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel to develop robust and enforceable agreements.
  • Provide administrative support to commercial negotiations and track contract completion.
  • Offer commercial advice to colleagues on contractual matters and risk management.

Requirements

  • A law degree or base law qualification with a passion for motorsport and an interest in working in business rather than in the legal profession.
  • Previous experience within a commercially focused team, particularly in a sporting environment, would be advantageous though not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear advice.
  • Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and action-oriented culture.
