About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Legal Executive to join our team at Prodrive. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all agreements made with clients, drivers, partners, and sponsors are properly documented and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for our contracting process, including the creation and maintenance of templates.
  • Implement an efficient renewals process and monitoring regime for existing contracts to ensure that contractual obligations are being met by both parties.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel to develop robust and enforceable agreements.
  • Provide administrative support to commercial negotiations and track contract completion.
  • Offer commercial advice to colleagues on contractual matters and risk management.

Requirements

  • A law degree or base law qualification with a passion for motorsport and an interest in working in business rather than in the legal profession.
  • Previous experience within a commercially focused team, particularly in a sporting environment, would be advantageous though not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues into clear advice.
  • Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness, with a keen eye for detail.
