About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the quality assurance team to ensure that our clients' products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and legality. This will involve overseeing the recruitment, induction, and training of quality auditors, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations, and conducting internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the quality assurance team to ensure product quality, legality, and safety while meeting customer specifications.
- Oversee the recruitment, induction, and training of quality auditors.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate investigations into customer complaints and implement action plans.
- Support the implementation of a robust quality management system and quality initiatives on site.
Requirements:
- Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications (Degree desirable).
- Experience working with major retailers and leading audits.
- HACCP and Food Safety qualifications.
- Internal auditing training.
