We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Westgate Healthcare. As a key member of our rehabilitation unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans for residents
- Provide expert advice and guidance to residents, carers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions and effective discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices
- HCPC registration and a BSc (Hons) or equivalent Occupational Therapy qualification
- Proven experience working with the elderly, with a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
