Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Westgate Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation services to residents discharged from hospital and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct OT assessments and provide rehabilitation to residents to help them achieve their goals and regain independence.
- Provide OT advice to residents, carers, family, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care.
- Conduct off-site access visits to identify equipment requirements and ensure safe discharge.
- Attend Multidisciplinary Team meetings to review residents' needs and plan discharge.
- Maintain accurate records and document in a timely manner.
- Participate in team meetings and in-service training to stay up-to-date with best practices.
About You:
- You must have a BSc (Hons) or equivalent Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC Registration.
- Previous experience working with the elderly is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
- You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a caring nature with a positive attitude.
