We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our service users, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist service users with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Encourage service users to access their local communities, socialize, and participate in activities
- Teach service users new life skills, such as cooking and cleaning
- Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
- Resilience, flexibility, and composure in approach
- Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
