Job Description

At Indegene, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining high-quality medical information documents for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature searches to identify key medical and scientific literature to support the creation of medical content.
  • Create and update standard response documents (SRs) by assessing and summarizing published medical and scientific literature.
  • Respond to medical information requests and inquiries from internal and external customers, ensuring that responses are medically and scientifically accurate, timely, balanced, and meet customers' needs.
  • Report issues of Adverse events and/or Product Quality complaints associated with medical information as per defined procedures and adhere to required timelines.
  • Deliver high-quality literature searches, including identification of key literature that would support the creation of medical content and check for or obtain copyright permissions prior to internal or external use.
  • Work on platforms and tools to support creation, review, management, documentation, analysis, and tracking of medical information documents.
  • Collaborate with the medical information and medical affairs teams during congresses, product launches, and key data releases to ensure assigned work is completed as per timelines and SOPs.
  • Participate in the training process and prepare specific training documents on a need basis and impart training as and when required.
  • Follow up on safety/PQC information as requested by the Drug Safety team.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in French and English.
  • Pharmaceutical industry (medical information, medical communication, medical affairs, safety, regulatory) experience is preferable.
  • Ability to perform literature research, analysis, and interpretation of medical data.
