RAC is thrilled to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Product and Commercial Strategist to join our expanding Product & Consumer Duty team. This role requires a strong background in regulated environments to assist product managers in enhancing product offerings and commercial strategies across the UK and European markets.

Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will hold responsibility for product performance and cost management, aiming to achieve operational efficiencies while maintaining excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure RAC products remain at the forefront of the market by analyzing trends and competitor developments.
  • Implement cost-saving measures to align with budgetary goals.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance commercial relationships with third-party partners.
  • Foster continuous product improvement, focusing on customer satisfaction and commercial viability.
  • Develop product proof points and compelling market claims based on technical and operational insights.
  • Leverage expertise to assist the broader team in achieving optimal customer outcomes and delivering market-leading products and services.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a regulated setting and have a background in team leadership.

Strong commercial acumen is essential for navigating various short- and long-term initiatives, applying sound judgment with a customer-centric approach.

Experience in managing external stakeholders and engaging in commercial negotiations is also beneficial.
