RAC is thrilled to announce a new opening for a Senior Product and Commercial Strategist within our expanding Product & Consumer Duty division. This role requires a professional with a background in regulated industries to assist product managers in enhancing product offerings and commercial strategies across various markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for overseeing product performance and cost management to achieve operational efficiencies while maintaining excellent customer outcomes.
This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility between office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure RAC products remain industry leaders by analyzing market trends and competitor activities to stay informed on new product innovations.
- Implement cost-saving measures to meet budgetary targets effectively.
- Explore opportunities to enhance commercial relationships with third-party partners to yield mutual benefits.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in product offerings, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
- Develop compelling product proof points and marketable claims based on operational and technical insights.
- Leverage expertise to assist the broader team in identifying opportunities that promote superior customer experiences and market-leading products and services.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a regulated setting and have a strong background in team leadership.
Exceptional commercial acumen is essential for navigating various short- and long-term initiatives, applying sound judgment with a customer-centric approach.
Experience in managing external partnerships and engaging in commercial negotiations is also beneficial.
