Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at FFE Ltd. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate training provision, including sourcing and liaising with training providers to identify effective training interventions.
  • Embed new line management training across the organization, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of mandatory training, ensuring compliance with company needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement evaluation systems and processes to measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and integration of organizational culture initiatives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
  • Optimize the use of FFE's apprenticeship levy to meet individual and organizational development needs.
  • Review and update the company's onboarding program to ensure a comprehensive and engaging introduction for all employees.
  • Collate and review training requests from the Performance Development Process and conduct training needs analysis across the organization.
  • Support the development and implementation of action plans aimed at improving staff engagement based on insights from the staff survey.
  • Participate in the review of FFE's organizational values, ensuring they remain relevant and reflective of our mission and goals.
  • Support the development, implementation, and embedding of succession planning practices and talent management across the organization to fully utilize potential and meet future and changing business needs.
  • Evaluate summer placement programs, looking at how these are offered and promoted to maximize future talent pipelines of diverse talent.
  • Provide cover for the HR Advisor, including progressing recruitment and monitoring the shared HR mailbox, escalating to the Head of HR as required.

Requirements

  • CIPD level 5 (preferred)
  • Learning and Development experience in a multi-location organization
  • Strong understanding of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practice
  • Exposure to working in a changing organization and having supported managers, teams, and individuals through change
  • Ability to establish credibility with a wide range of staff and managers across the business, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong planning and organizational acumen with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • A proven self-starter, with a problem-solving mindset and persistent in achieving objectives despite setbacks
  • Good IT skills, with a willingness to learn new systems
  • A collaborative team player, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Works well under pressure, thriving in a fluid environment and can change direction quickly to keep up with business demands
