Job Summary:

Farrer Barnes Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Business Manager to join their team on an initial interim basis. As an integral part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the school's finance, human resources, facilities, and other administration needs with support from the wider central Trust team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the operational support team to ensure the Head and Senior Leadership Team are supported in a non-teaching capacity.
  • Undertake budget management, financial reporting, procurement, and compliance responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to ensure the school's financial stability and growth.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and databases.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on financial matters and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Trust team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in school business management, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
