About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Team Leader to join our team at Co-op Digital. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading by example, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase loyalty
  • Lead and motivate the store team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they're equipped to deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail systems
