Loss Prevention Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at NEXT, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our stores and customers.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be the first point of contact for any security-related issues and will work closely with store teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols to prevent loss and protect company assets.
  • Work closely with store management to ensure compliance with company security standards.
  • Provide training and support to store teams on security procedures and protocols.
  • Action any other duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager, including Out of Hours surveillance and LP auditing.

About You:

  • Previous security experience within a retail environment is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • You'll be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
  • Travel will be required on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable travelling distance from your home address.
  • You'll be a confident communicator who can build great relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
  • You'll be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
