About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Next, a leading retail company. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment by providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.
- Work closely with Store Teams to build strong relationships and identify high-risk areas.
- Engage with store management to ensure Company LP standards are adhered to at all times.
- Action additional duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager, including Out of Hours surveillance, LP auditing, and support at other stores.
About You:
- Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be given.
- You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
- Travel will be required on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable traveling distance from your home address.
- You will be committed to keeping our Store Teams and customers safe.
- You will be well-organized with the ability to work well in a fast and busy store.
- You will be hardworking, self-motivated, and always ready to use your initiative.
- You will be a confident communicator who can build great relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
- You will be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
- You will be comfortable with using IT systems/computers, although this is not essential.
