About the Role:

Lidl is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shift Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and support your team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Create an environment where colleagues can thrive and succeed together.
  • Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shift operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences every time they visit our store.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading a sizeable team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team.
  • Patient and friendly manner, with the ability to remain calm in any situation.
  • Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team.
  • Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures.
  • Extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts.
