Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a diverse range of contentious probate work, including litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Manage and resolve Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims.
  • Conduct construction and rectification claims, as well as Court of Protection disputes.
  • Resolve executor and trustee disputes, proprietary estoppel claims, and challenges to wills.
  • Develop business relationships with clients and colleagues to drive growth and retention.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with team members on complex cases.
  • Meet individual targets with guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor with 1+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the role and ability to upskill as needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive and initiative-taking approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong personability and confidence when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Effective time management and workload organization skills.
