About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Minor Injuries Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and referring patients attending the Minor Injuries Unit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with minor injuries and ailments
  • Refer patients to secondary or community care settings as appropriate
  • Provide health promotion to patients and maintain a high quality of care
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience of working in emergency and/or minor injury and/or ailment care
  • Recent previous experience of working within a customer-focused environment
  • Ability to undertake physical examination in order to diagnose previously undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
