Deputy Manager Residential Home Opportunity

We are partnering with a local authority in Waltham Forest to fill a Deputy Manager position in a residential care home for older adults with dementia. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care professionals in a residential setting, ensuring high-quality care for residents.
  • Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement care plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managerial roles within residential care homes for older adults.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, and a strong understanding of care quality standards.
  • Availability to work immediately or on short notice, with the right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS.
