Early Years Education Support Worker

Leader Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Early Years department of a Mainstream Primary School in Northumberland. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to children in the Early Years department
- Assist with planning and preparation of lessons, including setting up activities and resources
- Work with children on a 1:1 or small group basis to support their learning and development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to achieve shared goals
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update service or willingness to obtain one
- Recent experience working with children aged 0-5 years
- Motivating and supportive presence towards children
- Understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Encouraging attitude towards students with varying needs
