Position: Safety Case Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safety Case Engineer to engage in various projects within a significant infrastructure portfolio.

This role entails the oversight and evaluation of safety cases, alongside the formulation of safety management protocols for client operations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and project teams as part of a talented and driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in review and project meetings.
  • Participating in Hazard Identification Workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Evaluating Safety Case documentation and creating Safety Case Documents.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in safety case delivery or evaluation within a nuclear context is essential. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are crucial.

Security Clearance:

SC clearance or eligibility is required. Only British born nationals will be considered due to project specifications.

Location:

Some travel to site may be necessary, although the majority of the role can be performed remotely.

Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications and experience in Safety Case Delivery/Assessment, along with an accredited Degree in a suitable 'STEM' discipline. Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
