Job Overview

Role Objective

The primary aim of this position is to evaluate, supervise, and control the risk of financial loss stemming from the failure of trading partners associated with the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the bank's exposure to various counterparties across multiple product lines and asset categories.
  • Assessing the financial stability and credit reliability of the bank's trading partners, which may include corporations, financial institutions, and sovereign entities.
  • Creating and executing credit evaluation models to measure counterparty risk effectively.

Join us in the role of Counterparty Credit Risk - Vice President at Barclays, a unique opportunity within the Counterparty Credit Risk division, supporting both the Counterparty Risk Models Group (RMG) and Counterparty Risk Management (CRM). The successful candidate will gain expertise in Counterparty Credit Risk, encompassing model ownership throughout its lifecycle and engaging in counterparty risk management activities, including live risk assessments of derivative and securities financing transactions across various asset classes.
