We are currently looking for a Motor Vehicle Training Specialist to contribute to the mission of The Bedford College Group.

This position is designed to empower apprentices by providing essential support in their work environments, promoting skill enhancement, and ensuring the successful completion of their training programs.

As a Training Coordinator , you will play a vital role in the success of our apprentices through:

  • Assessment and Support: Collaborating with the delivery team to ensure learners receive comprehensive induction, training, assessment, and continuous support throughout their journey, while also identifying any additional learning needs and facilitating necessary referrals.
  • Pathway Guidance: Working closely with employers and apprentices to direct them toward appropriate pathway options tailored to their job roles and organizational needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Leading the induction process during the initial weeks to guarantee a high-quality experience, alongside regularly assessing and reviewing apprentices' progress to provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance and Records: Ensuring adherence to awarding body standards, monitoring progress toward completion of all components, and managing the required off-the-job training hours.
  • Professional Development: Participating in team collaboration, sharing best practices, and contributing to the development of the curriculum.

Ideal candidates will possess experience in:

  • Teaching, assessing, or tutoring.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Education or equivalent.
  • Minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant motor vehicle discipline.
  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent, or a commitment to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year.
