Job Summary:

SF Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in the West Midlands to find a skilled Project Controller to join their growing finance team.

This is a critical role in the development of the business as it continues to scale, providing a motivated individual with an ideal opportunity to grow with the company during its next phase.

The successful candidate will have exposure to the private equity environment and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate governance, internal controls, and finance directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Create and manage the project financial execution plan, focusing on cash flow, revenues, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance and Governance: Establish governance processes, conduct financial reviews, and assess project risks and opportunities with the project director.
  • Commercial Management: Handle claims, insurance, and commercial agreements, ensuring proper follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Currency and Tax Management: Manage currency risks, bonds, guarantees, and tax obligations within the project.
  • Project Setup and Closure: Manage the setup and closure of project-related branches and ensure timely financial and tax reporting.
  • Audit Support: Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop project controllers and site controllers based on project needs.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience, seeking opportunity in a fast-paced, dynamic, and profitable business where they can grow and develop the role as the division grows.
