Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Anderselite LTD. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering smaller replacement and refurbishment projects on above-ground mechanical and electrical assets, refurbishment and replacement of key infrastructure pipelines and buildings, and improvements to existing assets and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Cost Management: Ensure project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance.
  • Financial Management: Ensure all applications for payment are made on or before the due date.
  • Contract Management: Ensure contract reviews, monthly forecasts are completed and submitted on time.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain good client relationships at all levels.
  • Project Strategy: Assist with the Project Management strategy.
  • Contract Administration: Establish and maintain the contract filing systems.
  • Reporting: Assist in the production of the contract programme monitor programme and produce progress reports.
  • Data Management: Provide data for the timely production of O&M manuals.
  • Procurement: Produce Procurement packages.
  • Subcontractor Management: Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Site Management: Liaise with site management on design and procurement issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor subcontract performance.
  • Documentation: Assist in the preparation of the construction completion and take over documentation.
  • Professional Development: Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
  • Communication: Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  • Confidentiality: Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progressing of quality solutions.
  • Innovation: Evaluate innovative solutions and processes.
  • Risk Management: Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Design Safety: Ensure designs are developed which are safe to construct, commission, operate and maintain.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in project engineering, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
