Educational Support Specialist

Position: Educational Support Specialist

Compensation: £95-£115 per day

Location: Swansea

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Overview:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Welsh-speaking Educational Support Specialist to provide essential coverage in a partner institution within the Swansea region. The school consistently seeks dedicated professionals to join their team, assisting teaching staff during periods of illness or absence.

  • While prior experience as an Educational Support Specialist or in delivering lessons as an Unqualified Teacher is preferred, we welcome applicants with transferable skills or those who have supported young individuals in similar roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering lessons based on pre-prepared materials from the teacher.
  • Implementing effective behavior management strategies in line with school policies.
  • Providing support to students facing challenges in completing assigned tasks.
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive educational environment.
  • Assisting with student supervision during non-class times, including before and after school and during lunch breaks.
