Director of Surgical Operations

Job Summary:
NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Divisional Manager for Surgical Services to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the management and control of surgical resources, ensuring the achievement of business performance objectives within quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the management and control of surgical resources, including budgeting and financial planning.
- Responsible for achieving business performance objectives, including quality standards and local and national HEAT targets.
- Contribute to the corporate management of the Division through the Directorate Management Team.
- Play a key role in the infection prevention and control programme, promoting a culture of compliance and facilitating compliance with policy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
