As a key member of the Directorate Management Team, you will be responsible for the management and control of the Directorate resources, achievement of business performance objectives within quality standards, and contributing to the corporate management of the Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to the Deputy/General Manager for the management and control of the Directorate resources.
  • Responsible for achieving business performance objectives within quality standards, including local and national HEAT targets.
  • Contribute to the corporate management of the Division through the Directorate Management Team.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and facilitate compliance with policy to ensure NHS Dumfries & Galloway achieves locally and nationally set targets for reducing HAI.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
