Job Title: HSE Officer

Wellington Professional Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Officer to join our client's team in Lisburn. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's health, safety, and environmental processes are managed effectively.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with Field Management to balance environmental, health & safety requirements with production goals to ensure compliance with safety-related regulations, systems, and practices.
  • Perform regular inspections of job sites, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and investigations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide various types of Environmental, Health & Safety training to all levels of employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement process projects to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive Health, Safety, and Environmental experience.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal clients is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% between the Isle of Man and Scotland.
  • A working knowledge of company drug and alcohol policy.
  • The ability to work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan and implement process projects in a timely manner.
