Energis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a successful manufacturing business based near Lisburn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the health and safety function within the plant, working closely with all business units to ensure health and safety is a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure line managers and relevant personnel are trained on legislative requirements
  • Ensure employees can perform their duties in a safe environment, taking proactive measures to prevent accidents or incidents
  • Analyse statistics to identify trends and patterns
  • Carry out regular safety audits and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement health and safety management systems and techniques
Requirements:
  • Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (Nebosh or NVQ)
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of health and safety management improvement systems and techniques
  • Experience of producing risk assessments and carrying out health and safety audits
  • Previous experience liaising with regulators
