Job Title: HSE Officer

Wellington Professional Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Officer to join our client's team in Lisburn. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's health, safety, and environmental processes are managed effectively.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and Director to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Your duties will include:

  • Collaborating with Field Management to balance environmental, health & safety requirements with production goals.
  • Conducting random inspections of job sites, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and investigations.
  • Providing Environmental, Health & Safety training to all levels of employees.
  • Working with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive Health, Safety and Environmental experience.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal clients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% between Isle of Man and Scotland.
  • A working knowledge of company drug and alcohol policy.
  • The ability to work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
