Job Title: Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Social Work. The successful candidate will be responsible for training prisoners to provide support and care to their peers with health and social care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train prisoners to National Care Standards to support others with health and social care needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prisoners, staff, and external partners to ensure effective delivery of the Buddy Programme
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Buddy Programme and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support

Requirements:

  • Experience in health and social care, preferably in a prison setting
  • Strong training and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prison vetting clearance
