The role of a Junior Sous Chef at THE PIG is unique and rewarding. We pride ourselves on sourcing ingredients from local suppliers within a 25-mile radius and utilizing our own kitchen garden produce to craft menus that are ever-evolving. Our Senior Chefs are not only passionate but also committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience, where creativity thrives.

Our kitchens are dynamic and fast-paced, and we seek individuals who bring enthusiasm, culinary skills, and a genuine passion for food. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, overseeing one of the four sections, contributing innovative ideas for the menu, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, as well as managing orders and schedules.

We are looking for confident Junior Sous Chefs who can effectively support a vibrant team. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across multiple properties and the potential to advance to a Senior Sous Chef role.

A comprehensive understanding of all kitchen areas is essential. We value a shared passion for modern British cuisine and sustainability. Previous experience in a similar role is required.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in mentoring and inspiring apprentices through our award-winning apprenticeship program.
