The Company:

Fitzgerald HR represents a distinguished high net worth family located in Central London. The successful candidate will support a family of five, including children and pets, ensuring the efficient operation of their household.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to manage the family's home from an administrative standpoint while coordinating household operations and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Principals to plan and execute flawless events.
  • Overseeing family schedules and arranging or rescheduling appointments.
  • Managing email communications on behalf of the family.
  • Coordinating with children's schools and keeping Nannies updated.
  • Organizing travel arrangements, including flights, transfers, and accommodations.
  • Communicating with staff at international properties.
  • Handling errands such as purchasing gifts, booking dining experiences, and managing pet care.
  • Keeping the Principals informed about household activities through effective organization and meetings.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the Principal and staff.
  • Supervising a team of seven domestic staff, including performance reviews, payroll, holiday schedules, and absences.
  • Facilitating clear communication and expectations with household staff.
  • Conducting regular inspections for maintenance issues and reporting them.
  • Coordinating with contractors and sourcing new service providers as necessary.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the family home and liaising with management agents of tenanted properties.
  • Maintaining accurate inventories and records.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a Personal Assistant within a private household, preferably in a high net worth setting. You should be adaptable to a dynamic environment and comfortable managing last-minute requests with a proactive, hands-on approach. A calm demeanor under pressure, coupled with exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, is essential.

The successful applicant will demonstrate initiative and proactivity to ensure the household operates smoothly. You will be a collaborative team player, capable of delegating tasks as needed, with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Proficiency in IT, particularly the MS Office Suite, is required. A driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.

The Rewards:

In return, Fitzgerald HR offers a competitive salary package ranging from 50,000 to 60,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a discretionary annual bonus, pension contributions of 9% employer and 4% employee, and 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays).
