Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounting, analysis, and payroll for the organization and its departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly revenue and expense reconciliations
  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and general ledger
  • Oversee payroll for full-time and part-time staff
  • Manage human resource activities
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage grants and closeouts
  • Process purchase orders and rental billing
  • Coordinate staff and artist travel reimbursements
  • Oversee supply and equipment orders
  • Process final show and events settlement
  • Process contracted artist fees
Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field, plus 3 to 5 years of experience in a university, non-profit, and/or performing arts environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, analytical, and technology management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with University of Pennsylvania financial systems and applications are preferred.
