Position Overview

As a Electrical Field Supervisor, you will oversee and manage all electrical site operations efficiently, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the installation process.

Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Field Supervisor:
  • Oversee Electrical Installations on Site
  • Participate in Site Inductions
  • Ensure the production of high-quality work in accordance with current standards and specifications.
  • Validate new electrical systems
  • Safely isolate Low Voltage electrical systems
  • Monitor the performance of the supply chain
  • Review and update supplier inspection and testing plans
  • Engage in collaborative planning meetings and contribute to the development of site delivery schedules
  • Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations and produce supporting documentation in line with CMDP electrical safety protocols
  • Conduct regular electrical safety inspections and isolations on both temporary and permanent installations
  • Hold one-on-one meetings with Supply Chain Supervisors as necessary
  • Assist in the preparation of project handover documentation
  • Issue access limitation permits
  • Maintain a daily log of site activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • SSSTS or SMSTS Certification
  • Experience in the Water Sector
  • Appointed Person Status
  • First Aid at Work Certification
  • ECS Card
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installations
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Test and Inspect Certification (Preferred)
