Electrical Site Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Construction team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities to ensure efficient and safe delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate electrical site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  2. Verify new electrical systems and ensure they meet current standards and specifications.
  3. Monitor supply chain performance and programme to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  4. Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they are up to date and relevant to the work activity.
  5. Attend site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure all team members are aware of safety procedures and protocols.
  6. Support commissioning activities and ensure electrical testing is undertaken in line with BS7671.
  7. Issue limitation of access permits and keep a daily diary of site activities.

Requirements:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
  • FAAW qualification
  • ECS card
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regs
  • 2391 Test and Inspect (desirable)
