Electrical Site Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Construction team in the Anglian Water Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities to ensure efficient and safe delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate electrical site activities to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  2. Ensure adherence to SHE standards and safe systems of work to maintain a safe working environment.
  3. Verify new electrical systems and ensure they meet current standards and specifications.
  4. Monitor supply chain performance and programme to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  5. Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to the work activity.
  6. Attend site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure all team members are aware of site-specific requirements.
  7. Support commissioning activities as required and attend collaborative planning meetings to develop site delivery programmes.
  8. Carry out electrical isolations and regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
  9. Hold regular meetings with supply chain supervisors to ensure take-5s are carried out and assist with compilation of project takeover documentation.
  10. Oversee electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671 and review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers' literature.
  11. Issue limitation of access permits and maintain a daily diary of site activities.

Requirements:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
  • FAAW qualification
  • ECS card
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regs
  • 2391 Test and Inspect (desirable)
