The position of a Packer at Dechra entails ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained while adhering to stringent production and sanitation protocols. Key responsibilities include managing components, bulk items, and finished goods, packaging products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and contributing to the achievement of daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package products to meet high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch documentation, participate in training sessions, and ensure the safe operation of machinery
  • Maintain a clean workspace, report any issues promptly, and follow safety protocols
  • Keep equipment in a clean and operational state
  • Uphold housekeeping standards and personal hygiene
  • Immediately report any safety or quality concerns
  • Assist senior staff with additional reasonable requests

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent time management and communication abilities
  • Experience in manufacturing settings, particularly in batch production
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous
